Meet Amy
Personal Development Coach | Accessibility & Equity Consultant | Storyteller
I'm Amy Nash (they/them), a queer, trans, and disabled advocate for accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.
Originally from Wales, UK, I've called Turtle Island home since 2013. With a background in marketing, policy development, and disability employment coaching, I bring over ten years of experience empowering individuals and organizations to create positive change.
I aim to foster environments where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. Whether it's through personal development coaching, accessibility & equity consultation, or storytelling, I'm dedicated to helping you reach your goals and build a more inclusive world.
Lived experience
Beyond my professional background, my personal journey has deeply shaped my approach to advocacy and consultancy work. Some of the more salient lived experiences that influence my relationships and work include (but are not limited to):

-
Experiencing displacement as a child immigrant
-
Navigating Canadian immigration
-
Experiencing youth homelessness
-
Navigating different cultural practices, languages, and impacts of displacement/migration
-
Surviving childhood sexual violence and sexual assault as an adult
-
Neurodivergent (ADHD & Synesthesia)
-
Disability (fibromyalgia, chronic malaria, PMDD)
-
Ex-evangelical with experience healing from religious trauma
-
Queerness
-
Curiosity, fluidity, and creativity in navigating and challenging the status quo and social norms.
-
Non-monogamy-aligned, kink-aligned, and sex-work-allied
-
Navigating relationships with substances beyond AA/NA
-
Stories, folklore, astrology, and mythology
-
I draw a lot of lessons and references from books, movies, and other storytelling platforms.
Social Positioning Limitations
I will continue to do what I can to offer services that honour and respect your stories and experiences, and I recognize that I am my experiences and perspectives are contextually bound (i.e., as a trans-misogyny-exempt person, as a survivor of sexual violence, as an immigrant, etc.). As such, I am and will be limited in some capacities.

If we are not the fit you are hoping for, that’s entirely fair - you are not stuck with me! If you would like/welcome support in connecting with with practitioners who better fit your needs and wants, I am happy support you in this also.
Sliding Scale Offerings
If you are struggling to meet basic needs, please talk to me. I provide all coaching services on a sliding scale. A lower price range is something we can collaborate on for folks struggling to meet basic needs where paying full price for a session would create hardship in some way.

If you are interested in supporting others accessing this support, consider paying it forward.
I am on Unceded Territory
I live, work, and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Nlaka'pamux and Syilx people.

All of my services are available free of charge to First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Peoples.
10% of all profits from Amy Nash Consulting and Amy Nash Coaching are donated to the Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly every month.
